Corette’s bold decision to leave the comfort of a corporate role and establish her own independent HR consulting firm, New Initiatives HR, in 2007, demonstrates her entrepreneurial spirit and determination to make a positive impact in the field of human resources.

In 2015 Corette refocused again, rebranded and transformed her consultancy to offer outsourced HR services to small and mid-sized businesses. Her business and team expanded with a goal of becoming a trusted virtual HR partner. Her own experience of growing the business drives Corette to find solutions for her clients helping businesses create a solid foundation upon which to grow.

In March of 2021, ThryvX was successfully launched by Corette, marking an exciting new chapter in her journey. Corette’s first focus was on rebranding and establishing a strong online presence for the company, ensuring consistency across the website, social media platforms, and client interactions.

She then collaborated closely with her team to define the company’s values and articulate the core purpose of ThryvX. By actively involving the entire team and valuing their input, Corette fostered a sense of ownership, inclusion, and pride among all members. Together, they created a strong foundation that fuels ThryvX’s growth and success.
