Corette Miller
Founder and CEO
Corette brings over 20 years experience as a human resource professional to small and large corporations throughout Canada and the United States.
Corette’s fresh, plain-language and practical approach helps her educate business owners and partners of small businesses on how to best protect themselves from the turbulent first few years of business as they grow and adapt to the market around them.
Corette is the founder & CEO of ThryvX and shares a passion for public speaking and educating her peers. She has appeared as a paid guest speaker on numerous panel topics in the public and private sectors.
Her love for speaking and elevating those around her led her to become the Vice President of the Whitby Chamber of Commerce 2020-2021, succeeded by her time as the President of the chamber. She has also held board positions of multiple other coalitions and organizations such as Big Brothers & Big Sisters of southwest Durham and Northumberland and as Vice-President of the BNI Chapter of Momentum.
Karen Dasovich, CHRL
Human Resources Consultant
Employer and employee relations can often be challenging to navigate. That’s where Karen Dasovich steps in.
With more than ten years of experience in Human Resources, CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) and CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designations, coupled with a background in Psychology from Trent University, Karen is a skilled HR professional that excels in employee relations, performance management, government legislation compliance and more.
Over the years, she has trained numerous employees and worked with business owners in the public and private sectors and across a variety of industries such as automotive, health-care, technology, and entertainment.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable Karen loves to meet with clients and enjoys helping business owners succeed. There is never a dull moment but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She loves a challenge and the variety of her position keeps her on her toes.
To give back to her community, Karen volunteers her time and expertise as an HR professional to the Ajax Pickering Board of Trade.

Sean Mitchell, CHRL
Bilingual Human Resources Consultant:
Sean has over 18 years’ experience in a blend of human resources, operations and process improvement expertise. Over the span of their career, Sean has worked as a bilingual (French/English) HR consultant and partnered with many organizations small and large in Canada and abroad and also as a direct employee with companies like Loblaws, Marriott and Amazon.
No matter the issue or goal, Sean has the proven capability to create long-lasting value for anyone they work with.
Susan Mercer-Tumilty
Director of Operations & Consulting
Susan is a sourcing, procurement and project management expert with over 18 plus years of Business, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing experience.
Susan has hands on experience successfully leading and managing numerous projects and sourcing events from researching, defining requirements, managing competitive bids, contracting and implementation.
She has deep experience working with the private, public and not for profit sectors including health care, financial, telecommunications, technology and media and entertainment industries.
Susan holds a BA in Sociology & Psychology from Queens University and is an avid volunteer at Community Living Toronto.
